Real estate and pre purchase inspections
Buying in Fort Lee? We offer pre purchase rodent inspections for homes, condos, and multi family buildings. You get a written report you can use during negotiations.
What happens after the inspection
You get a clear written plan with options. Most clients choose a removal plan with rodent exclusion included, so the problem does not return.
How to prepare for an inspection
An inspection usually follows the same order: a walkthrough with you about what you have seen and heard, then attic, basement, kitchen, garage, and exterior checks, with photos of droppings, nesting material, gnaw marks, and entry points. The report then groups findings by area, so you can see which openings matter most.
For homes, the assessment focuses on kitchens, attics, and basements. For businesses and multi-family buildings, it also covers storage rooms, loading areas, compactor rooms, and shared risers. An adult should be present at the end, so findings can be walked through together and next steps can be agreed on the spot.
